Osman Khalid Butt did an exclusive video with PCP on the importance of birth spacing and use of contraception during COVID-19. His video was released on July 11 at the World Population Day & received over 15k likes and shares.

Sustainable population
growth and opportunities

PCP organized a youth webinar on sustainable population growth and opportunities for young people in partnership with Pakistan Youth Advocates for Change and its digital platform Bolo Jawan. Held on November 25, 2020 the webinar featured young people’s voices on Pakistan’s rapid population growth and its impact on their lives.

Virtual Interactive Youth Forum on July 11, 2020 to mark the World Population Day

PCP collaborated with Institute of Social and Youth Development (ISYD) and organized virtual Interactive Youth Forum on July 11, 2020 to mark the World Population Day. The Forum was held on Facebook and was joined by over 3000 young audience. The Forum featured virtual discussions, theater and musical performances, video and photography contests and youth awards. The Forum highlighted impact of population growth on youth’s life, status of health services for young people and impact of COVID-19 on young people’s reproductive health rights.
